Life can be so good when you're 14 months old. Monkey had a visit to the club's playroom after lunch today and went crazy over the big floppy soft dog cushions they had there. There were balls too and he toddled around in pursuit of those balls, occasionally diving into a dog cushion, mouth wide open, as happy as can be. He used to be a bit intimidated by the big children in that playroom but today he was confident of himself, toddling up to them, as pleased as punch.
When he started flagging, he went outside and shared mummy's ice cream, had a drink, went for a wander and came back with a yellow balloon from a party that was wrapping up.
Monkey was thrilled with his yellow balloon, holding it tightly in his arms, holding it by the end and flipping it around "doinking" himself on the head as he had seen in Panda Junction, and just having a wonderful time. He's been chasing it around the house, grabbing it, kicking it, squealing with delight and I'm terrified that it will burst.
And when he got home, there was his best friend eeyore waiting for him and life was wonderful.
