Mee rebus

We're certifiable insane.  Fresh from our insane turkey-eating episode, DH and I bought ANOTHER turkey, on special offer from Citisuper.  This one was stuffed with a rice stuffing, made from rice cooked with cinnamon, cardamon and five spice, and mixed with minced duck.  It was rather yummy actually, and between the four of us (us two and two helpers) we ate rather a lot of it.

CM had turkey for lunch the next day, and for tea, had a turkey, cranberry sauce and Karltonberg toasted cheese sandwich, which he gobbled avidly.

Tonight, we had turkey mee rebus!  Mee rebus is a Malay dish (if in Singapore, try the stall at Binjai Road!) of yellow egg noodles, half a hard boiled egg, chicken (or in this case, turkey), deep fried tau foo bits, fried onions, chopped green things, green chilli and a rich sauce with a tau cheo base.  We didn't quite have the right noodles, and had red chilli instead of green, but it was really yummy nonetheless.
